About Me
I am a rising senior at Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Computer Science and Cognitive Science. My favourite language is Python, but I
have worked with C, C++, Python, and Java, as well as SQL and R. Last summer, I worked at Google as a STEP intern on the Google Maps Team and will be returning this summer as a SWE Intern on the Google Ads Team! Previously, I have interned on the software development team of Delineo Modelling,
a project under Dr. Anton Dahbura, that aims to predict the spread of the Covid-19 in a personalized way for smaller communities.
Since the spring of my freshman year, I have been involved with
the Bonner Lab on campus, where I work with Dr. Mick Bonner and Dr. Alon Hafri to examine how mid-level statistics of objects and scenes influence our ability to perceive them. I have had an amazing experience
working as a Research Assistant where my work ranges from generating a 3000+ image stimulus set to applying visual illusions to images to attending talks and reading papers written by some of the
most prominent cognitive scientists in the world. I was also selected as a Provost Undergraduate Research Award recepient for my recent project on examining how mid-level features affect image categorization abilities.
I am the second author on a forthcoming paper at Psychological Science for my project on how perceived distance alters memory for scene boundaries and
I presented this work in competitive talks at two major conferences (at Object, Perception, Attention, & Memory'20 and Vision Sciences Society'21). I am passionate about Vision research and I am on my way to find a balance between my love for employing coding
to solve real life problems and using the functionality of the human brain to crack the emerging era of Artificial Intelligence!
